At Freeharts we have bred our awesome weimaraners for temperament, size, conformation, and an overall family companion. We have been breeding our weimaraners in southern California since 1985. We breed for quality, breed preservation and are just Weimaraner enthusiast. We have successfully produced excellent show potentials, field dogs, and certified for therapy dogs. We breed only gray and silver gray. We have been known for producing calm demeanor dogs that have superior intelligence.
Bivins Weimaraners is committed to responsible breeding and adheres to the Weimaraner Club of America’s Breeder’s Code of Ethics. While the first priority is to produce puppies who make great pets and companions, I believe that not only should our dogs conform to the breed standard but they should be capable of competing in the field and at obedience, agility, and tracking events. My goal is for my dogs to have titles at both ends of their names. Screening first for health and temperament issues, I then try to select a sire whose conformation and performance aptitude provide a complement to my girls.
Corbett Creek Kennel is owned by Mary Corbett. We are a small hobby breeder in Corinth, Vermont. I have been breeding dogs for thirty years and have numerous champions in the conformation, obedience and hunting fields. I am also active in retraining and rescue work, priding myself in puppies who are well socialized, lovingly raised and cared for. Our weimeraners and vizslas are calm, loving and are excellent examples of the breeds.
We are located in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA. We’ve owned Weimaraners for 25 years. We are home to two Weimaraner best-in-specialty show winners, many show champions, breeder of two master hunters, 3 grand champions, hunt-test, W.C.A. ratings, obedience and agility titled dogs.
Our goals are NOT “to produce puppies”, but to produce healthy, sound, intellegent, structurally correct, beautiful representatives of the breed. We do this by honorably maintaining very high standards. Our sires and dams have great temperments, and are in the best of health. They have been certified free of hip dysplasia with ratings of good or excellent, or Penn Hip cleared.
Over 20 years of selective breeding has produced successful competitors in Show, Hunting, Obedience, Tracking and Agility. Seven generations of AKC Champions, International Champions, Best of Breed winners, Best in Specialty winners, Group Placing, Junior Hunters, Top 10 Obedience competitors, Top 20 Conformation. We strive to produce a Weimaraner who is true to the standard, with the natural instincts and ability to be a performance competitor. Temperament and health are our priority.
We always breed for excellence in conformation, temperament, health and hunting ability and believe that every litter should be bred with the intention of improving this magnificent, versatile breed we love so much. We also believe that a breed standard was written to assure that a dog’s conformation allows it to be structurally built to perform the task for which it was bred. That means that above all, we breed healthy, conformationally correct hunting dogs with sound temperaments!

Our wonderful journey with Weimaraners began in 1984 training and earning AKC obedience titles.Within my limited breeding I have produced several AKC Champions, Best of Breeds, Best in Specialty, Specialty point winners, Best in Futurity, Futurity class winners and placements, AKC titles in Obedience, WCA Ratings, tracking, and hunt titles.In addition, several of my Weimaraners have been novice/owner handled to earn their Championships.
It is their desire to conform to the breed standard in conformation and in quality hunt drive. They only breed animals that meet the breed standard, have desirable qualities for health and temperament with good natural hunting abilities. Studs dogs are chosen for these same qualities.

We feel that trainability, heart, and a superb nose are very important traits to bring into a breeding program for the amateur owner/handler. We think that there’s a fine line between cooperation and drive, and we strive to get that balance in our breeding.

We have been sought out time and again for our exquisite weims and have shipped puppies all over the United States to qualified candidates. Hello ! I am Marcella Moeckel and my son Cash Smiley. I live in Central Kansas, about 25 miles west of Hutchinson, KS. Our lives are filled with many animals and a lot of work ! We have Working Cattle dogs, LGD Great Pyrenees, Hunting Weimaraners and always loving lap babies Mini Dachshunds !
